Strawberry Lemonade

I haven’t photographed much recently, so this morning I wanted to do something where I didn’t need other people to take a photo. And since food photography is something I’ve found interesting I decided to make this super delicious strawberry lemonade out of fresh strawberries and lemons. If you’ve already got very sweet strawberries you might not even need to add any granulated sugar which is actually the worst thing you can eat. Here’s how to make it:

400 ml water

50 ml granulated sugar

Zest from one lemon

150 g fresh strawberries

100 ml lemon juice (about 2 lemons)

Let water, sugar and lemon zest come to a boil in a saucepan. Stir until the sugar has melted. Let it cool.

Place the strawberries in a blender or food processor. Add lemon juice and mix until a smooth texture. Mix the strawberries with the sugar syrup. Pour into glasses with lots of ice to serve.
